Glikeria Basdeki was born in Larissa in 1969. She studied History, Greek Literature, and Creative Writing. She lives in Xanthi where she teaches in a Secondary school. She has two poetry collections: It’s Dangerous to Open Your Door to Young Girls You Don’t Know (Plethron, 1989) and Pull Hard on the Chain (2012, 2014), Theodoros Kolokotronis (Bibliotheque, 2016).
