The eyes that watch are barer than the dancing body. In an era where hordes of immigrants flood Athens, a stripper collapses from cardiac arrest during her performance. When her body is transported to the morgue of a hospital, three of the employees recognize her as a person with whom they had various relationships. Until her transfer to the cooling chamber, the nurses analyze the past and express their deepest feelings; the attempts to avoid responsibility for her death, the recriminations, their prejudices and their guilt lead to conflicts and their eventual mental crash.
The play won its creator the Ministry of Culture’s State Prize for Best Emerging Playwright in 2004.
