- Through a mock radio show, an avid reader of Manolis Anagnostakis [Greek poet], savors his favorite poet’s poems and thoughts, softly sings his favorite songs, and listens to a rare taped narration of the poet. With stage actions and audio footnotes, he rakes up details of the poet’s political, personal and literary path. He moves between the ‘listeners’ and the ‘spectators’, in a game of memory, interference and silence. The play is based on poems of Manolis Anagnostakis, and the monologue Essentially, I am Left-Handed, 2011.
