Thanasis Papathanasiou was born in Orestiada, Greece. He studied Political Sciences at the Panteion University of Athens. He also studied at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos.

Michalis Reppas was born in Loutraki Korinthias. He studies mathematics at the University of Athens and graduated from the Drama School of the National Theater. He studied at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos, while establishing an acting career.

They have been working together for theater, film (Safe Sex, Crying was Born on Heaven, Oxygen, Strictly Appropriate) and TV (The Three Beauties, Dis Examartein) as writers and directors since 1987. They have also translated and adapted several plays for various theater companies in Athens.

Papathanasiou and Reppas have taken part with their texts in theatrical revues and TV shows. They have also collaborated for music performances with artists like Dimitra Galani, Kostas Makedonas, Giorgos Marinos and Afroditi Manou.
