Tatou Dede is a pianist, dancer and an actress. She studied piano at the National Conservatory of Greece and the Music Conservatory Association of Athens where she got her Diploma with Distinction and First Prize. She is a graduate of the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia in Specialization Piano. She is, also, a graduate of the Professional Dance School “Rallou Manou” and Drama School “Athinaiki Skini”. She has attended numerous seminars in Piano, Dance and Theatre. She is an active member of IETM, the multimedia art festival SCHMIEDE and the Greek MENSA.
She has worked as an actress, musician and dancer in the performances “Lilith?”, “The Return of Iphigenia” by Yiannis Ritsos and “Modern and Topical” by George Souris, directed by Manolis Ionas, as well as director-choreographer on the performance “Seven 7” .These works were presented in Alcmene Theatre (2011-2014).
The performance “The return of Iphigenia” was also presented Thessaloniki, at the Ancient Olympia Festival 2013, at the 5th International Street Theatre Festival, at the festival Performances in Ermionida and at the United Solo Theater Festival in New York.
She is inventor, creator and director of the work in progress ANTI-GONE, originally presented at SCHMIEDE festival in Austria and then, in the Open Platform for young artists, on stage “Nikos Kourkoulos”, at the National Theatre of Greece (2015).
In recent years she is a radio producer on StreetRadio.gr and she writes interviews at Refeel.gr and “Karfitsa” (A music issue distributed with the newspaper “Avgi”).
