A woman celebrates alone on an empty stage when the audience enters and disrupts her celebration. She is forced to share her space, her memories, her inner world. Through excerpts from plays she loves, stories from her childhood, and portraits of people she has lost – a poet friend who died in a fire, a mother who gradually fell silent as dementia took hold – the woman explores her inability to stay, her need to wander, and her fear of the moment that expands and demands a choice. She builds and dismantles stage spaces, tries out foreign words as though they were clothes, and dreams of invisible cities filled with nymphs. In the end, she decides to land here and now, to leave the Rubik’s Cube unsolved, to celebrate a hope that asks nothing in return. A journey from escape to staying, from borrowed words to a silence that belongs only to her, from the solitude that protects to the vulnerability that connects.
