  • Inspired by the anti-colonialist struggle of EOKA (National Organization of Cypriot Fighters) in 1955-59 in Cyprus, the play describes the experience of a Greek-Cypriot family during that time, who did not hesitate to hide a wanted guerilla soldier in their house, and their suffering at the hands of the English. It was staged non-professionally by the Alumni Association of the High School of Kyrenia in Kyrenia, in 1959.
