A verse story, adapted for staging within the framework of the programme “Oli i Ellada, Enas Politismos” sheds light—through the eyes of children—on aspects of the refugee issue beyond the obvious. Where the adult cats see only problems, the little ones recognize richness and unique gifts. The book focuses on the reception of refugees, the real problems involved, the prejudices that exist, as well as the value and importance of the unique Other. Characters from Eastern and Western fairy tales run through the work like a luminous web, connecting the entire world, regardless of national, cultural, racial, religious, or any other kind of differences.
