In an Hour: A father has run away to a beach, and his son tries to convince him to return to attend the grandmother’s funeral. Canal: The air smells of gas. A sudden explosion could open a canal, where on one side stands a son-writer and on the other a father-worker. Ice: Late at night, a woman visits her widowed neighbor because she’s run out of ice. Some ice cubes are enough to break the ice between two middle-aged people, but the young son in the next room stubbornly refuses to sleep. Necronomikon: A man discovers a rare book in a Paris library and meets the ghost of his father.
