Ppevlianis is a beautiful, fertile estate in the district of Kyrenia, Cyprus, which, during the reign of the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century, belonged to a Greek subject who did not want to part from it, which resulted in his arrest and torture in a medieval tower by the Ottoman conquerors.
