  • The thirty-year-old Aris Maniatis and his childhood friend, Katerina, are in abeyance with the past: then along with another friend of theirs, Michalis, they lived their life and love intensely, they made dreams. But an unexpected event separated them. Fourteen years later, Aris visits Katerina. Things are quite different. Their meeting will make them face up the past. There is no Michalis in the play. He does not even appear on the stage, but he is present everywhere. He has marked both of their lives. At the same time there is an emergent situation that hides a terrible secret. A solution must be found. Kill your darlings started as a novel with Aris Maniatis, a filmmaker, the hero. The dramatization of the text was made by the writer himself and the director Aris Troupakis.
