Alienated people in a city full of life, the characters are featured in this intertwined play. Domestic isolation, non-communication, marital problems, inability to understand one another, resignation from life, desire for death. The two heroes of the play yearn for oblivion. One yearns to forget the past, the other yearns to forget the present. One is hooked to the person who randomly passes by him, hoping for a “resurrection.” The other is begging for her life to end through the “opportunity” that appeared out of nowhere. The man (Likos -Wolf) was, until recently, living for his work, when this habit was interrupted after he lost his job. His personal life is nonexistent. Sealed within himself, he survives his middle class environment. Can he play the role of the romantic conqueror, of the sleepless overseer for whatever “love?” On the other hand, the emancipated, economically independent woman (Elafi -Deer), betrayed by a marriage that conceals many secrets, she tries to forget all she has (re)seen by ending her life, facing the “bizarre” betrayal in an extreme and emphatic way. To achieve her goal, she is willing to even stigmatize her strict morality. Next door people, deserted by their fellow men, by society, by the State. Parallel to the story, there are marching videos that present people testifying –after Elafi’s death- in Court, where Likos is tried. They are testifying their version of the facts, through testimonials of formalities or strict ritualism.
