Wednesday Afternoon. A mother and a daughter. Like they do every week when the daughter visits her mother, they are “locked” in the kitchen making a cake. Everything appears normal. However, the pleasant mood alternates with harsh attacks that voice their deepest thoughts. There is one more thing that makes this evening even more special: the mother is now dead.
It is a play that essentially takes place in memory, openly discussing all the guilty and hard secrets that many families attempt to conceal, while seeking to establish the longed-for reconciliation between mother and daughter.
