- Prompted by a letter her son has left her, which she does not dare to read, Aphrodite takes stock of her life, reflecting on her mistakes. When she finally decides to open it, she realises that her son is telling her he is gay. A succession of accusations and recriminations follows. Ultimately, love overcomes the confusion and turmoil on both sides. The mother comes to understand that what matters most is accepting her child’s choices.
