A teenage sports team struggles to find its own voice and identity, and to embrace its fears and weaknesses. These are young people who dream — sometimes silently, sometimes loudly enough to leave everyone stunned — and who are forced to grow up too soon in order to defend their very existence. An entire system of control confines them and defines them from the outside. But what would happen if that system were forced to confront their criticism? Would it collapse, or would it redefine itself, establishing new norms and new goals? And what would the next day bring for each of them?
The arrival of a new member creates a new and fragile balance, overturning the existing dynamics and exposing the cracks within the characters themselves and in their relationships. Meanwhile, the Coach is determined to take the team to the top, often at any cost. Will he succeed? Will they succeed together, as a team?
The characters — with the exception of the Coach — are not merely athletes; they are teenagers: restless, constantly on the move, forever searching. They question everything, even what is happening before their very eyes. For them, nothing can be taken for granted; everything can be overturned at any moment.
This transitional moment in their lives — adolescence — despite all the challenges it may hold, is also a precious gift: a second chance before adulthood, an opportunity to seize life and explore every possible boundary to its very limits.
For Teenagers.
