Marina, a woman in her mid-thirties, has recently separated from Ilias and is more broke than ever. With no other option for her summer holidays, she decides to return to her grandmother’s house in the village. There, completely unexpectedly, she encounters her older cousin Thomi, who has reopened the long-shuttered house of their grandmother, Haido, and has been living there permanently for some time.
The two women are forced to live together in their grandmother’s crumbling house — at least until the next bus to Athens arrives. Events from the past begin to resurface, bringing back everything that has remained unresolved between them.
Will they manage to bridge the distance between them and face one another with honesty?
A farcical comedy about returning to the village, but also about returning to the past: to memories, and to the childhood selves that remain within us. A comedy that celebrates the human need for acceptance and love, for understanding and genuine connection.
