Poet Nikos Karouzos descends from the ladder of the sky to the basement he used to live. There lie his small desk, his old typewriter, his single bed. Slowly, the room is filled with shapes: a girl who adores him, his Muse, the demanding and all-knowing Reader of his literary works, and, last, the Ghost of the poets and people that have haunted his life. The cat’s cradle begins.
