The French State honors the Greek playwrights Maria Efstathiadi, Thanasis Chatzopoulos and Dimitris Stefanakis with the French medal of Chevalier des Arts et Lettres. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 30 September at 19:30, at the courtyard of the French Institute of Athens.

The medals will be bestowed by Olivier Descotes, Counselor of Cooperation and Cultural Action of the French Embassy and Director of the French Institute in Greece.

The Order of Arts and Letters rewards those who are distinguished for their creations in the artistic or literary world, as well as for their contribution to the promotions of literature and arts in France as well as worldwide.
