She studied French literature at the National and Kapodistrian University and for approximately ten years she worked in district schools. Next came a career in journalism in the magazines &#8220;Ena&#8221;, &#8220;Tachidromos&#8221;, &#8220;Marie Claire&#8221; and in the newspapers &#8220;To Pontiki&#8221;, &#8220;To Vima&#8221; and &#8220;Ta Nea&#8221;. Today she writes in \u00abAthens Voice\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013 her collection <em>Woman of Average Height<\/em> was published by Patakis with two hundred vignettes, which were published in the newspaper &#8220;Ta Nea&#8221; during the decade 2002 to 2012. In 2015, her book \u201cNeedles on Knees\u201d (Karfitses sta gonata), published by To Rodakio, includes two of her plays. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She appeared in theater in 1986 with her play <em>Overnight,<\/em> performed by the troupe <em>Mirror<\/em> of Pepi Economopoulou. In 1994 she received the Best Screenplay award at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and her play \u201cPolydouri Road\u201d was nominated for the \u039aarolos Koun Theatre Award. Her texts and plays were published in the magazine <em>Poetry<\/em> and <em>Book&#8217;s<\/em> <em>Journal<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In June 2015 her translation of the latest novel by Patrick Modiano (Nobel Prize in Literature 2014) <em>Pour que tu ne te perdes pas dans le quartier <\/em>was published by Polis.
