He studied at the Pancyprian Gymnasium, at Evis Gavriilidis\u2019 School of Theatre and at Theodoulos Kalinikos\u2019 School of Byzantine Music.<\/p>\n<p>He worked as a news announcer for radio and TV, and as a program manager in Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation from 1965 until 1997 and the broadcasting station &#8220;O Logos&#8221; from 1998 to 2001.<\/p>\n<p>He has written plays, dozens of scripts for television and hundreds of sketches for the radio.<\/p>\n<p>Seven of his plays and twenty-four Cypriot sketches have been published in three volumes by Phaneromeni\u00a0Church in Nicosia, to which he serves as right cantor. His other theatrical works have been published by himself.<\/p>\n<p>A collection of poems entitled &#8220;Poems&#8221; has been published by the Holy Monastery of Kykkos. He has also written short stories, vignettes and airtime vignettes. The short story &#8220;O Liakos\u201d, which refers to the sacrifice of the pupil of the Pancyprian Gymnasium Michail Giorgalas, took first prize in a contest, launched by the school for its hundred years.<\/p>\n<p>His published plays are registered in the digital collection of the CUT (Cyprus University of Technology) <a href=\"http:\/\/athena.cut.ac.cy\/koukidis\">http:\/\/athena.cut.ac.cy\/koukidis<\/a>.
