Evdokimos Tsolakidis was born in Thessaloniki in 1962. He studied at the Medical School if the University of Rome. He was awarded his diploma from the National Theatre of Northern Greece with honors.\u00a0 He continued his studies in drama, acting and directing in New York City (H.B. Studio, Actor\u2019s Studio) funded by the U.S.A. Government (Fulbright Foundation).\u00a0In 2013 he graduated (BA) at the Greek Open University (Humanities Section, European Culture). Since 2014 he has been studying for his MA at the Open University of Cyprus (Theatrical studies). He has worked as an actor in many troupes, including the National Theater of Northern Greece, the National Theatre of Greece, the Spyros Evangelatos Auditorium, the Regional Theater of Crete and Thrace, the troupes Karezi-Kazakos, Aliki Vougiouklaki, George Kimoulis, Xenia Kalogeropoulou e.t.c. He took part in film and television productions and directed plays in Greece and abroad.<\/p>\n
He is the founder and the artistic director of “Theater of Changes” (http:\/\/www.toc.gr) where he directs and teaches to this day. At the same time he teaches systematically in Rome (International Acting School, Cinecitta), in London (Giles Foreman Acting School), in Stockholm (Kulturama), in Instabul (M\u00fcjdat Gezen Art Academy, S.A.K.M.), in Tbilisi (Marjansvilli Theatre), in New York (Theaterlab), in Paris (Ecole de th\u00e9atre de Paris, Trixter), in Amsterdam (Easylaughs group), in Kathmandu (Dabali Theater), in Izmir (Tiyatro Terminal), and others. He has participated at International Theater Festivals (Romania, Iran, Switzerland and Mexico) and has taught at the Theater Department of the Universities of Alexandria in Egypt, Tehran in Iran, Ciudad del Carmen in Mexico. He was chairman of the jury of the International Theater Festival in Agadir (Morocco 2007).<\/p>\n
Every year since 2005, he has organized\u00a0In.F.o.Ma.T.<\/em>\u00a0(International Festival of Making Theater), an international meeting of theater makers from around the world.
