He studied Law at the University of Thessaloniki. He emerged as a poet in 1970 with the publication of his collection \u201cNeron\u201d but he ultimately turned to writing theatrical plays. His plays have been widely and successfully performed on stage as well as on the radio and television.<\/p>\n<p>As a novelist, he made his appearance with the novel \u201cThe Unknown Soldier\u201d (1986). In fact, he was honored with the 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0Greek National Literary Award for \u201cThe Dark Fairytales\u201d.
