He has worked for the National Theatre, the National Theatre of Northern Greece, and a number of Municipal Regional Theatres.<\/p>\n<p>He has received two awards from the Ministry of Culture for his work as a playwright, for <em>Playmobil<\/em> (1989) and<em> Anna, I said! <\/em>(1994). In 1997, his play <em>Save<\/em> won him an honorary distinction in the first International Cultural Competition organized by the Onassis Foundation. In 2001, in the second Competition organized by the Onassis Foundation, Mentis\u2019 play <em>Foreigners<\/em> \u2013 staged in the National Theatre\u2019s New Scene \u2013 won the third international award.<\/p>\n<p>Panagiotis Mentis is a board member of the Greek Playwrights\u2019 Association, and has also been a board member of the National Theatre of Northern Greece.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, he is the artistic director of the Municipal Regional Theatre of Serres.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>PLAYS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Roza, 2012<\/p>\n<p>Mao (adapted from C.
