Six characters who are met or lost. Someone desperately looking for companionship, another for a second chance. One trusts a stranger with their life. Two others meet in a cold night on a bench and fight over a mattress. A collage of human relations, ordinary and innocent at first glance, but perhaps hiding danger, violence, or exploitation.

The play consists of four autonomous acts, with some loose connection between them, which have the crisis as their background. It outlines a microcosm of society, where the personal – internal crisis leads to the crisis of relations, values and institutions, and finally concludes to the collapse.

The first act titled “Two Men” takes place in a neighborhood cafe, where a wealthy retiree, A. randomly looks at and invites at the table a young foreign man, B., with who he lives in the same building.

The second act is titled “Mezzanine” and it takes place in a company where violent incidents are taking place. One of the guards saves the Chairman of the Board and takes him in a dark mezzanine of the building, which is intended for saving money and documents. There they hide until things calm down.

The third act, “The Meeting” takes place in a modern cafe. A couple, which is separated, meets to discuss, find solutions. In their middle, a child.

The fourth scene, “Final Encounter” takes place on a bench next to the cafeteria of the third act. There, from the beginning of the third act, is a man sleeping under a duvet, a homeless man. A second homeless man appears and tries to have a friendly chat with him.

Mezzanine

5 male – 1 female

[12
post-4192","article","type-article","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-general-essays
["GET
