A woman with a husband, friends, a career (she teaches at a university), abandons her normal life because an unfulfilled, forbidden passion has possessed her, has made her into a wolf and propels her along unfamiliar trails. Believing that she is thus pursuing a wild happiness, a deep need for vitality and earthiness, she is led to ever more destructive and self-destructive acts, until she finds herself faced with a crime.<\/p>\n
An allegory about the position of women, the relationship between the sexes and the conflict between nature and civilization in today\u2019s society. The play, inspired by Ibsen\u2019s \u2018The Doll\u2019s House\u2019, traces the path of a contemporary Nora after she has left her home. It also brings to mind Beauty and the Beast. Only, in this case, Beauty and the Beast are one.<\/p>\n
