A play inspired by the anti-colonialist struggle of the Greek-Cypriots in 1955-59, based on a true incident from the life of the wanted section manager of EOKA (National Organization of Cypriot Fighters), Kyriakos Matsis, in 1957. It is based on Rina Katselli’s short story “The hideout of Foungi”, which was published in her volume of short stories Reversal Particles, by Chrysopolitissa Publishings 2015.
It presents the human side of both Kyriakos Matsis and his team when, digging for their hideout, they come across a prehistoric ancient tomb.
