Andreas (Cyprus) Koukidis

A peasant is stealing chickens from his yard, which he sells, and he loses the money gambling. He has an engaged daughter and the groom, who breeds the chickens for the wedding, calls the police. The officer, who is also a violinist, learns soon enough that a wedding is going to take place, and he hastens to examine the case of theft, but with his main aim being to ensure his place as a musician at the wedding. The play has not been staged yet.
