1 male and 1 female or 3 male and 3 female

Dimitris Finitsis

Two asexual human beings, who answer to the first two letters of the alphabet. Two human beings living among us. With eyes, mouth, hands, senses, desires, fears, needs … These human beings are presenting –as it appears- the image of a totally happy and in love couple, despite what they experience when they are alone. There is a contradiction of acts and words. They wear no clothes. The setting is a vast bed. The spectators are watching the play on the corners of the bed. The human beings are looking each other constantly in the eyes, smiling persistently. They touch each other as if it was the first time. The first night of a random encounter. They often kiss on the mouth, but always quick kisses. They speak in whispers. The writer points out that the scenic enactment of the text “can be done with three different beds and three couples: man-woman, man-man, woman-woman. The spectators have the right to choose their seats.”
